Why We Love Working in Audio

Camille Bondeville, Co-Founder Sound & Pepper

Camille Bondeville, Co-Founder Sound & Pepper

Camille jumped into an audio career as a Guerilla Marketing Manager at DAVID Systems having no prior link the industry. She did not expect that job to turn into a serious appreciation for the technology, people and diversity she has found in this niche. She thinks however that much more can be done, so now Camille is taking the next step and has founded a Startup called Sound & Pepper - with bridging being one of the core missions.

If you are in Bavaria on May 22nd and 23rd 2023 you can meet her and her co-founder at the Medialab Bayern Innovation Festival: https://www.media-lab.de/de/media-lab-innovation-festival-2023/articles/media-lab-innovation-festival-2023-2

Matej Prapotnik - Radio Strategist at RTV Slovenija & Bicycle Mayor

If you are curious about the power of #audio, it might be worth to take a little time out of your schedule and listen to Matej Prapotnik in part 5 of the #WhyWeLoveWorkingInAudio series.
In just 199 seconds he describes his job and the magic that comes with it, invokes your desire to go to new places, explains why exercising your “audio-body” is key to #bridging (I was immediately reminded of Cilla Benkö’s “practice your splits” key note) and plants a seed of a car-less future. I always enjoy talking to Matej and luckily I had a recorder with me at the last Radiodays Europe. If his enthusiasm doesn’t convince you – nothing will 😉

Ronny Rishaug, System Administrator at NRK

As a kid Ronny Rishaug started to create audio productions at home which lead him to become a technology expert at Norwegian Public Broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK). Thanks Ronny, for sharing your love for #Radio and #Audio.

Christian Bollert, detektor.fm

Christian Bollert is not only the co-founder detektor.fm but also organizes Medientage Mitteldeutschland. He speaks about his passion for audio, about his successful attempts on #BridginginAction and on creating an attractive workplace in the #audioindustry.

Gareth Psaltis, DAVID Systems

Gareth Psaltis on how his love for music guided the beginnings of his career and how his interest has branched out into technology. Last week he released a new album under his moniker "Barking".

Caroline Gillet, France Inter

Caroline Gillet is a #radio host and #podcaster who has been using technology to find bridges between cultures. She was one of the panelists on the "Bridging in Action" session at Radiodays Europe in Prague. I highly recommend to check out her "Inside Kabul" project. Enjoy!
